Additionally, there might be slight color variations because of calibrations of different monitors and devices despite our efforts to make sure our pictures are as close to the exact product as possible.
1. Order Cancellation
Orders once placed cannot be cancelled. Once an order is placed on our website, it cannot be cancelled or modified.No exchanges or refunds will be made against garments which have been ordered using custom Sizing or altered by the customer
We encourage customers to review their order details carefully before confirming the purchase.
2. General Return & Refund Policy
As a general rule, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for any products sold. We do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, or colour selection, or any other personal reasons.
We offer exchanges for sizes ONLY for all items on our websites .
However, we make exceptions in the specific cases outlined below where the mistake is on our end.
3. Exceptions: When Returns Are Accepted
We will accept a return and provide a full refund only under the following circumstances:
- Damaged or Defective Product: Returns/Refunds would only be accepted if goods received are defective, spurious, not as advertised/agreed upon.
- Incorrect Item Received: If you receive a different product from the one you ordered or if there is a sizing issue and the garment doesn’t fit you, please ship us the piece back with a small note of your size requirements and send us an email at support@houseofikaat.com
4. Material Guarantee
Every Ikaat outfit is made with the finest fabric, intricately embroidered with attention to details to ensure that the delicacy and softness of your garments are maintained.
ALL garments are dry clean friendly. Do not bleach or use chlorine
- If you find a genuine issue with the material of the outfit you purchased, we will offer a one-time replacement for the same item.
- Please note, this guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper care, washing, or handling.
5. Items on Sale
We want you to find your perfect match during our sale, but please be aware that we cannot offer exchange or returns on sale items. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled.
6. How to Initiate an Eligible Return
If your order qualifies for a return based on the exceptions in Section 3, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
- Provide Details: Reach out via email or phone with your Order Number and clear photographs of the damaged/defective/incorrect item.

7. Conditions for Returned Items
For a return to be accepted, the product must be:
- In its original, unused condition.
- Unwashed and unworn.
- Returned with all original packaging and tags intact.
We reserve the right to reject any return if the product shows signs of use or does not meet the above conditions.
8. Return Shipping
- For Eligible Returns (Damaged/Defective/Incorrect Items): You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- For Ineligible Returns: If a return is initiated for a reason not covered by our policy, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs.
9. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved: Your refund will be processed to your original method of payment.
- Timeline: Please allow up to 7-10 working days for the refund to be credited to your account after the return has been approved.
